About the Founder

Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar is founder of K.C. Sekhar and Associates, Company Secretaries firm. CS K. Chandra Sekhar is Post Graduate in Commerce (M.Com) and graduate in Law and member of:

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMA)
Semi qualified Chartered Accountant
Insolvency Professional (IP)
Registered Valuer with IBBI.

He is also qualified Independent Director registered with Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA).

His early career started with M/s. Infobahn Technologies Limited, Software Company and STPI unit, Hyderabad and then moved to M/s. Bhoruka Aluminium Limited, Mysore, a listed Company followed with M/s. Denso Kirloskar Industries Private Limited, a Japanese Company and then moved to M/s. Ace Designers Limited, Bangalore as General Manager & Company Secretary a leading manufacturer of CNC lathes commanding 30% of market share in Machine Tool Industry.

He has vide industry experience and served Indian and Multi-National Companies (MNC); Listed and Un-listed and closely held Companies during last two decades. His experience includes Secretarial, Legal, Taxation (direct and indirect), Legal Compliances and supported Business strategy during his service. Apart from heading Secretarial and Legal, he was heading Accounts and audit (both internal and statutory) through out his career.

He has been a regular speaker at various programs conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and The Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India (ICMA). Presented seminars and study circle meetings on emerging topics like Public deposits, Related Party Transactions, Boards’ Report, XBRL filing and IFC, Revised Schedule VI; Ind AS, Service tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST); Transfer Pricing under Income tax, 1961 and Pre-packed Insolvency Program; (PPIRP).

He was leading the team during GST migration activity and convergence into Ind AS of Ace Micromatic Group (AMG)

Having rich industry experience and holding various positions in corporate sector during last two decades, Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar has started own practicing firm of Company Secretaries to serve corporates with passion and zeal.
